The Reticulum network in the Netherlands is still being built. Build along.
// community
ReticulumNet has its own node and a group chat for people who want to try out Reticulum. The network is still small and being built: every extra node adds range. You start over the internet, follow along in the group chat and later add your own node, gateway or radio interface if you want.
| Host | node.reticulumnet.nl |
| Port | 4242 |
| Access | Public and open to new people |
| Type | Transport + Propagation |
# ~/.reticulum/config
[[ReticulumNet]]
type = TCPClientInterface
enabled = yes
target_host = node.reticulumnet.nl
target_port = 4242
You don't need any hardware of your own for this: you connect to this node over the internet.
| Transport | Routes traffic between participants. |
| Propagation | Stores messages for offline recipients and delivers them as soon as they come back online. |
| Group chat | A shared channel where new and experienced users find each other. In Ratspeak you can write directly to 10918ef24fcd691d1558c90d728d2c39. |
| LoRa gateway | A bridge between the local LoRa segment and the wider backbone over the internet. |
New here? Start with Ratspeak and join the group chat. That is the fastest way to get to know the network and the people behind it.

Watch how others use Ratspeak, Sideband, RNodes and gateways.
Ask questions if you're not yet sure which board, app or setup suits you.
Later add your own LoRa node, gateway or transport node.
Find other Dutch users to build coverage and test locally together.
Your identity and nickname are created automatically the first time you start Ratspeak. If you later want to connect via LoRa, Sideband or your own node, you'll find the next steps on the get started page.
// nomadnet
ReticulumNet also has a page on NomadNet, a kind of mini web that runs entirely over the Reticulum network. You open the pages directly in your NomadNet client, without a browser or domain name. If the internet goes down, they stay reachable as long as there is a path over LoRa.
| Node name | ReticulumNet NL |
| Node address | 5f2877e5c0cb74f07073f578345b4544 |
Open NomadNet, go to the Network tab and look for ReticulumNet NL, or enter the node address directly. You'll then arrive at our welcome page with the group chats and further explanation.
